Alessandra Morelli: I followed a two-day workshop at the ERC and it was an experience that I hope to be able to repeat soon. The course was very well organised, both in the theoretical and practical parts, the teacher was very good and the staff were very helpful. They were two days of sharing, growth and enrichment!
Piero Niccoli: Excellent training experience. High level of preparation expertly managed by a teaching staff made up mainly of restorers and technicians in the sector. Teaching of ancient and refined techniques with the implementation of new discoveries in the field of restoration. Professional course recommended for those who want to begin this wonderful journey in the world of restoration!
Elena Santulli: A wonderful reality, where you can learn both practical and theoretical subjects regarding restoration with great professionalism. We can find different study paths. The path I followed is that concerning the technician of the restoration of wooden materials, it develops over three years. In which to learn the basics of restoration both in the laboratories where one works on objects protected by the superintendence, and with theoretical subjects such as the history of furniture or the chemistry of the materials used in restoration, and through internships in historic workshops.Highly recommended course for learning an ancient craft, but always staying up to date on new techniques and new materials to use.
Marta Bonini: and I have already been working for some time, this certainly would not have happened if I had attended a common university.Highly recommended
Marianna Torre: The European Restoration Center is located in the splendid setting of the Medici Villa la Petraia. The school offers various courses including the one I had the privilege of attending: Technician for the restoration of wooden artefacts. The course of study is varied, and goes from learning scientific subjects such as chemistry, or the biology of wood, to purely practical ones such as gilding, restoration and carving laboratories. In this journey I had the opportunity to learn ancient artisan techniques as well as the fortune of being able to implement them on artefacts of artistic and cultural value. In fact, the school offers, in addition to training internships in companies in the sector, the possibility of working on works belonging to museums and therefore under the protection of the superintendencies. An experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to approach the world of restoration or to anyone who simply wants to broaden their knowledge.
Gemma Mainardi: A beautiful place and wonderfully friendly people. Open day organized impeccably.
PETRA CIABATTINI: A magnificent place and a beautiful experience
