Etienne IDE: Free admission but donations greatly appreciated to guarantee the maintenance and conservation of the cemetery. The cemetery is very pleasant and relaxing. Well maintained. The tombs all different from each other.

angelica peez: Keats is burried here. As well a goathe. Its very peaceful and full of plants and butterflies and theres a cat santuary. Its Lovely. Its a 5$ dollar donation and the $ goes to the cat santuary. Make sure to bring bug repelant.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Sylvain Desmille: has continued to increase, 2 euros two years ago, five today - much more than inflation. And as it is a "donation" no tax trace! But the place is to be seen. Nice view of the pyramid. Good visit.

Veronika Koštal: Probaly the nicest place I've visited in Rome. I wish I could have spent more time there. Plenty of benches to sit down, read and chill. It's the perfect getaway from hectic city center as it's so peaceful with lots of trees and plants. There is also a group of cats living there for all feline lovers.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Anna Jones: This is my favourite place I have visited in Rome. It was so peaceful, and so much history within it. Truly a beautiful place, where anyone of all regions can rest together! The staff were really friendly, and at the bookshop the lady helped me with my Italian and recommended some places to see nearby. A really must visit!!! Thank you so much to all those involved ❤️

Gabriel Fernández Muñoz: It was created inside the old Aurelian wall in the so-called Prados del Pueblo in Rome but away from the inhabited center. In fact, this area was destined for the burial of non-Catholic foreigners from the s. XVIII.More on my blog: not just hiking

Louise Philippe: Beautiful area ! We suggest you make a donation of 5€/person at the entrance but nothing obliges you to do so! The cemetery is beautiful and well maintained.

Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Familien Madsen: cimitero acatolico di Roma. +. English TranslationA large pyramid marks the entrance to this devotional cemetery in Rome. It is incredible to feel the silence that reigns here. When you know that just on the other side of the church wall, the loud sound of traffic noise and the noise of the pulsating life of the never-sleeping metropolis of Rome. You enjoy walking around in the quiet prevailing calm, the coolness in the shadows of trees and flower-filled bushes, and looking at the many beautiful monuments and peaceful burial places. We also found a section with burial sites from the North with commemorative plaques with names and memorial words from the high north. The place is definitely worth a visit.A large pyramid marks the entrance to this reverent cemetery in Rome. It is incredible to feel the silence that reigns here. Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Attenzione agli orari.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Verano Monumental Cemetery: what do users think?

Roberto Cecchini: .

Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Irma Zandl: This cemetery was very near to my hotel in San Lorenzo and it is beautiful. I had to cut my visit short because of an impending thunderstorm but I could have spent at least an hour here. I don't think it's worth coming to San Lorenzo if you are visiting Rome for only a few days but if you have some extra time, and if history and monuments are your thing, 100% worth checking out.

Carlo Carlevale: , gens senatoria at the time of the Roman Republic. It was always a burial place

Andrej: You die well even if you get lost

Roberto Di Molfetta: I'm making a review of it based on memories from years ago. I haven't been in there for the last few years. The Verano cemetery is not only a burial place for the deceased, but also, as the name suggests, it preserves important monuments and illustrious tombs of personalities who have made the history of Rome and Italy. There are tombs of very important characters of Rome, such as the actor Alberto Sordi, or the actress Elena Fabrizi, in Arte Sora Lella. But also important tombs in the previous history of the city. It's not just a cemetery, it's a book full of pages of Roman history, as fruitful as few other Roman places. Located in a fairly central position, next to the popular district of San Lorenzo and the La Sapienza University of Rome, it represents a notable place in the capital for historical and documentary importance.

mlccrl: What to see Monument to the victims of the bombing of San Lorenzo. Near the Crocione. Sculptor Maleci Rodolfo.

Stanley Nicolardi: Alberto Sordi ❣️❣️❣️The History of Italian Cinema ❣️❣️🙏🙏

Mausoleum of Augustus: what do users think?

Stephan: This will be very impressive when finished! It is under construction, we will be back!

Alessandro De Carne: A dir poco Stupendo!

Marcela Muscio: Amazing place and well preserved

Emanuele: Carino, dovrebbe essere aperto al pubblico

Alexandra Titze: Unfortunately closed

Juan Manuel Perez Ruiz: It is currently under construction.

Emrah Adali (Fırtına): It is among the historical places to visit in Rome. Like every historical place, it is useful to see this place.

Jean-Pierre Savelli de Guido: Regret not to have gone inside this mausoleum, because of the works, but a great respect for this emperor

Jack Bowers: We were not able to enter here due to construction work going on around the site, but we could see the building exterior. Like so many other sites in Rome, it is an amazing exhibit of Roman architecture.

Jens Becher: Currently not accessible due to renovation! Hopefully next time.
